<p>One of the great things about being a photographer is that you get exposed to so many different things.  Professions, services and products.  We just shot some motorcycles in studio this past week and these things are amazing compared to bikes just a few years ago.</p>
<p>They are technologically advanced squeezing every ounce of horsepower out while keeping the weight down.</p>
<div id="attachment_64" style="width: 280px" class="wp-caption alignleft"><a href="http://blog.martintrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/002-09-0007.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-64" style="margin: 5px;" title="Honda CBR" src="http://blog.martintrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/002-09-0007-300x191.jpg" alt="Honda CBR, ©2009 Martin Trailer" width="270" height="172" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Honda CBR, ©2009 Martin Trailer</p></div>
<p>I do not know the computer power on these things, but there is definitely calculations going on.  The reason I say that is the solenoids and timing calcs going on for maximum HP&#8217;s whether high or low speed.<span id="more-55"></span></p>
<div id="attachment_61" style="width: 280px" class="wp-caption alignright"><a href="http://blog.martintrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/002-09-0017.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-61" style="margin: 5px;" title="002-09-0017" src="http://blog.martintrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/002-09-0017-300x191.jpg" alt="Yamaha R6 ©2009 Martin Trailer" width="270" height="172" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Yamaha R6 ©2009 Martin Trailer</p></div>
<p>I rode until marriage which was several years ago.  All motorcycles were/are fast, but these new machines are really amazing.  I read in the newspaper in 2008 some high schooler was tagged with radar in the mid-west going 215mph, on some road between corn fields by the local sheriff.  Took the smokey a half an hour to catch-up going flat out.  The motorcycle rider said he had no idea how fast he was going, focused only on going straight ahead.  I have seen telephone poles at 120mph, just blurs, but they must disappear at 200 plus!</p>
